Even after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vermont College, Linda Wilson continued to study art in the U.S., France and England. She studied drawing at the London Institute of Art, and she studied painting with Elizabeth Poiret in France, near the Pyrenees Mountains. She has also attended numerous workshops taught by well known artists.
Linda has exhibited for many years at the Southern Hills Country Club annual art exhibit and at Utica Square's Art in The Square. She has also participated in various art festivals, especiually on Brookside, where her studio and gallery, All Things Artful, was first located. Most recently she was comissioned to create large abstract paintings for Trinity Hospice's executive office.
Besides producing and teaching art, Linda is working on her ongoing book, Like a Watered Garden, which will become a living legacy for her children and grandchildren. |
